IMPORTANT TASKS

  • Participation in the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (including asset accounting, provision overview, account reconciliations, appendix, management report)
  • Accounting and posting of ongoing business transactions
  • Preparation of monthly reports with a focus on HGB incl. Key figure analysis and financial result preparation
  • Contact person for auditors and tax advisors
  • Processing of questions/identification questions regarding national (HGB) accounting, valuation and other and further banking regulations
  • Participate in tax reporting and calculations
  • Participation in cross-functional projects and additional tasks in the area of ​​finance

BEST PRECONDITIONS

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in economics, ideally with a focus on finance or accounting, or equivalent qualification
  • Relevant experience in the areas of accounting, controlling, financial planning and analysis or other related areas of a bank, auditing or consulting firm would be an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, especially MS Excel
  • High affinity for IT systems and optimization of interfaces in a diverse IT landscape
  • Excellent analytical skills, decision-making ability and problem-solving skills
  • Care and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills in international contexts
  • Fluent written and spoken English skills
