IMPORTANT TASKS

  • Responsible for updating and further developing the institution-specific risk analysis and contributing to the digitalization of processes in the area of ​​money laundering prevention
  • Development, updating, and implementation of internal principles/guidelines, procedures, and controls to prevent money laundering and fraud
  • Participation in the implementation of the EU AML package
  • Advising all departments and employees on the implementation of requirements to prevent money laundering and fraud
  • Handling anomalies in the context of transaction monitoring and preparing suspicious transaction reports
  • Existing solutions (e.g., transaction monitoring models) can be questioned and reviewed in terms of optimization potential.
  • Conducting control activities in accordance with the control plan
  • Preparing and supporting audits of the money laundering organization
  • Participating in reporting to management and communicating on money laundering-related topics
  • Ensuring compliance with requirements for the prevention of money laundering and fraud, as well as developing and implementing measures to mitigate these risks in compliance with current legal and regulatory requirements
  • Involvement in outsourcing processes in accordance with AT 9 MaRisk and New Products/Markets processes in accordance with AT 8.1 MaRisk

BEST PRECONDITIONS

  • Degree in business administration, law, or commercial law or comparable qualification
  • Profound professional experience in the field of money laundering and fraud prevention
  • Excellent knowledge of the EU AML Regulation, the Money Laundering Act (GwG), and regulatory requirements (e.g., BaFin's interpretation and application guidelines)
  • Ability to translate legal frameworks into operational implementation guidelines
  • Experience in the operational processing of deposit and lending business, as well as payment transactions
  • Experience in the application of relevant monitoring systems is an advantage
  • Analytical thinking skills, particularly the ability to recognize structural and behavioral patterns, as well as the ability to work independently
  • Solid decision-making skills
  • Communication and teamwork personality
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
