IMPORTANT TASKS

Management tasks (overarching activities):

- Disciplinary management of the compliance team of currently 2 people incl. responsibility for the areas of information security and data protection
- Assumption of the role as:
  • MaRisk Compliance Officer (m/f/d),
  • Deputy Information Security Officer (m/f/d)
  • Deputy Data Protection Coordinator (m/f/d)
- Technical assurance of a best practice framework within the bank with regard to
  • MaRisk & Corporate Compliance and sanctions
  • Information security and
  • Data protection
- Continuous further development of the team and anticipation of future external and internal framework data for sustainable overall bank management

Specialist tasks:

- Within the 3 specialist areas, ensuring, developing and implementing measures to reduce risks in compliance with current legal and regulatory requirements
- Implementing effective procedures for compliance with rules and regulations as well as corresponding controls  
- Training and promptly informing employees about current issues
- Preparation of annual risk analyses and reports  
- Ensuring appropriate sanctions monitoring through:
  • Analyzing sanctions regimes (EU, US etc.) and
  • Supporting the Airbus Bank divisions in their application
- Supporting and advising the specialist departments in the implementation of projects and initiatives

 

BEST PRECONDITIONS

Successfully completed studies in law or business administration, or a comparable qualification

- At least 3 years of management and leadership experience with solid decision-making skills
- excellent technical and methodological knowledge through several years of practical experience in the banking areas of compliance and financial sanctions
- careful, independent and responsible way of working with a strong focus on results
- analytical and conceptual thinking skills and a structured way of working excellent communication and teamwork skills with high social competence in dealing with internal and external contacts/customers
- Very good written and spoken English skills
- Further qualifications are an advantage
  • o Knowledge and experience in AML/anti-money laundering
  • o Understanding of corporate law structures (legal forms and the establishment of corporate and shareholding structures) in the international arena
