IMPORTANT TASKS
- Contract drafting, PowerPoint presentations and letters
- Support with due diligences (especially in the real estate financing sector)
- Creation, management and maintenance of contract formats, checklists, manuals and written regulations
- Support in the creation and revision of process models
- Organization, preparation and cooperation in bank-wide projects, introduction of new tools, processes, etc.
- Collaboration in the purchasing process (in particular commissioning and monitoring external law firm assignments)
- Supporting the company secretary function, committee management in the administration of company law documentation and notifications as well as deadlines
- Supervision Supporting the legal department in all administrative tasks that come up
- Reference to insolvency law/corporate law/transaction support
- Active handling of external law firms involved with the bank regarding content and procedural issues. Also management of legal coordination processes with the legal representatives of the counterparties to ensure the expected time-to-market for the client and protect the bank's own interests.
BEST PRECONDITIONS
- Training as a paralegal, notary clerk, commercial lawyer, first state law examination or comparable qualification (e.g. Bachelor or Master of Laws)
- Relevant professional experience through work in a law firm, bank or other financially regulated company
- Legal knowledge in the real estate sector, property development financing or in the investor sector as well as insolvency / restructuring are advantageous
- Ability to draft under German law
- Understanding and affinity for the current regulatory and legislative environment
- Entrepreneurial thinking and a special interest in economic processes and interrelationships
- High quality awareness and willingness to work proactively, independently, flexibly and on one's own responsibility
- Very good communication and team oriented skills
- Very good knowledge of the MS Office package (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Fluent in written and spoken English
