IMPORTANT TASKS

  • Professional and disciplinary management of the KTA Aerospace department
  • Conceptual and professional development of the department
  • Making credit decisions within the applicable authority framework, as well as exercising payment and booking authorizations
  • Responsibility for the allocation and processing of new credit business within the team, including the preparation of credit application templates and contract documentation
  • Ensuring systematic credit processing and administration of the aerospace portfolio, taking into account regulatory requirements as well as internal processes, guidelines, and instructions
  • Ensuring high quality of decision templates and coordinating internal and external decision-making and approval processes
  • Independent assessment of complex or specialized credit cases, including analysis and review of credit and collateral agreements as well as necessary monitoring measures
  • Optimization and assurance of data quality within the credit portfolio, as well as continuous improvement of processes and workflows in ongoing credit processing
  • Solution-oriented collaboration with other departments, especially within KTA, the market and legal department, accounting/regulatory reporting, risk controlling, and service & portfolio management
  • Monitoring, managing, and independently carrying out as well as participating in internal bank projects

BEST PRECONDITIONS

  • Completed training as a bank clerk with further qualifications or a degree in economics, or a comparable qualification
  • Relevant professional experience in structured finance, ideally in the aerospace sector, alternatively in comparable industries such as renewable energy or shipbuilding
  • Extensive experience and expertise in the assessment and management of counterparty and transaction risks, as well as in-depth knowledge of balance sheet and financial statement analysis (HGB and IFRS), cash flow modeling/analysis, and rating procedures
  • Strong understanding of economic relationships, analytical thinking skills, and solution-oriented approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as a strong sense of quality and risk awareness
  • Goal-oriented and structured working style
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
  • Very good MS Office skills; knowledge of Agree21 is an advantage
  • Experience in leading international teams is an advantage
