IMPORTANT TASKS
- Monitoring and reporting on the bank's loan portfolio, with a focus on the aerospace segment
- Performing a portfolio management function by preparing analyses and recommendations on the bank's existing and new business and presenting them to various committees within the bank
- Monitoring macroeconomic developments and risk indicators, as well as analyzing their impact on the bank's existing and new business
- Further developing and optimizing reporting based on the BI software Tableau in collaboration with all stakeholders
- Participating in the further development of the bank's data infrastructure/reporting infrastructure and incorporating additional topics (e.g., ESG indicators, profitability calculations, etc.)
- Participation in bank-wide projects or (partial) project responsibility
- Supporting division management in audits, especially the annual financial statement audit
BEST PRECONDITIONS
- Degree in economics, business administration, or economics or training as a bank clerk or comparable qualification.
- Profound professional experience in structured finance or, alternatively, in research/credit/bond portfolio management.
- Analytical working style, ability to recognize economic relationships and their mechanisms in the context of a bank with an asset-based finance business model.
- Ability to communicate issues precisely and appropriately, both verbally and in writing.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel; knowledge of the core banking system agree21 and experience with BI and data analysis tools such as Alteryx and Tableau are advantageous, as are experience with databases (SQL Server) and defining SQL queries.
- Excellent written and spoken English and German skills
