IMPORTANT TASKS
- Perform in-depth fundamental credit analysis of aircraft finance transactions covering corporate, asset and structure aspects – both for new transactions and for the periodic reviews of portfolio transactions,
- Prepare internal credit applications, make informed recommendations and present your work at the credit committee with a risk assessment, mitigation and monitoring focus,
- Develop in-depth knowledge and pro-actively monitor your credit portfolio (incl. airlines and aviation lessors involved in them), identify significant risks at an early stage and initiate appropriate risk mitigation measures,
- Periodic valuation and review of collaterals,
- Cooperate closely within a deal team, incl. involvement in direct client contacts,
- Support efforts to enhance existing processes, tools and participation in project activities.
BEST PRECONDITIONS
- University degree, preferably in economics or business or comparable qualification,
- Several years of relevant professional experience in the field of asset-based and cash-flow based aircraft financing including practical experience in the respective transaction steps (structuring, analysis, documentation and monitoring)
- Experience in the assessment and management of counterparty and transaction risks as well as sound knowledge of balance sheet and financial statement analysis (HGB and IFRS) and rating procedures
- Good understanding of economic contexts, good analytical thinking and solution-oriented action
- Good communication and teamwork skills as well as high quality and risk awareness
- Very goal-oriented, structured way of working
- Very good command of English (primary working language). German is considered an advantage.
- Sound knowledge of MS Office
