IMPORTANT TASKS
Independently preparing and carrying out audits in the bank’s various business areas, especially in credit business and risk controlling, but also in other regulatory topics
Evaluating structures and workflows and providing suggestions for improvements if needed
Identifying risks and gaps in the internal control system, and offering advice for risk reduction when necessary
Preparing audit reports, holding wrap-up meetings with departments, reporting to management
Monitoring timely implementation of agreed-upon measures (follow-up)
Supporting significant projects from the audit perspective
Assisting with external audits (e.g., special audits by regulatory authorities, outsourced IT audits, annual financial statement audits)
Contributing to the creation of the annual audit plan
BEST PRECONDITIONS
- Apprenticeship as a bank clerk and/or a university degree in business administration, economics, or law, ideally with a banking specialization
- Profound professional experience in the audit department of a bank or an accounting firm (audits in the financial sector)
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory/legal requirements
- Quick comprehension and analytical thinking skills
- Independent and responsible way of working
- Teamwork, communication, and organizational skills, as well as stress resilience
- Assertiveness and willingness to find compromises
- Good IT skills, especially M365; knowledge of agree21, REDIS, Tableau is an advantage
- Good English skills
