IMPORTANT TASKS
- Independently preparing and carrying out audits in the various business areas of the bank, primarily in the areas of lending and risk controlling, if necessary also in other regulatory areas
- Evaluating and optimizing structures and workflows as well as identifying and reducing risks and gaps in the internal control system
- Preparation of audit reports, final discussion with divisions, reporting to management
- Monitoring the implementation of agreed measures (follow-up)
- Supporting projects on the audit side
- Providing support for external audits (e.g. special supervisory audits, outsourced IT audits)
- Involvement in the preparation of the annual audit plan
BEST PRECONDITIONS
- Completed apprenticeship as a bank clerk and/or completed banking or business studies
- At least 3 years of professional experience in the auditing department of a credit institution
- Knowledge of the relevant regulatory / legal requirements
- Quick comprehension, analytical thinking skills
- Independent and autonomous way of working
- Teamwork, communication and organizational skills as well as stress resistance
- Assertiveness and willingness to find compromises
- Good command of English
- Good IT skills, especially M365; knowledge of agree21 and REDIS an advantage
