IMPORTANT TASKS
- Overall arrangement of commercial aviation finance transactions for new and mid-life aircraft, engines and helicopters
- Due diligence, evaluation, financial modelling, deal structuring and presentation of transactions, including risks and strengths, in credit applications and committees
- Analysis of asset values based on internal models as a function of technical characteristics, and underlying contractual terms.
- Working closely with relevant teams and senior stakeholders within the Bank while building strong relationships and act as a trusted partner with clients, partner banks and key influencers in the aviation community
- Execution of financing or amendment requests as well as certain follow-on commitment requests
- Respecting and conducting Airbus Bank internal processes, policies and rules
BEST PRECONDITIONS
- Strong academic background - technical expertise is an advantage
- Relevant experience in managing structured finance transactions as well as a strong understanding of
- the entire aviation industry
- debt products
- in-life transaction management
- financial modelling and deal structuring
- bilateral and syndicated credit documentation
- Proven analytical and business skills
- Comfortable in presenting your analytical work both verbally and in writing
- Strong awareness of the aviation market and key risk drivers, whilst striving for optimal commercial outcome with clients
Additional skills:
- Deep understanding of economic relationships, good analytical skills, and a solution-oriented approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills as well as a high sense of quality and risk awareness
- Structured and goal-oriented working style
- Solid knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of Agree21 is an advantage
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken
