IMPORTANT TASKS
- Preparation of monthly reports focussing on HGB and in particular IFRS, including analysis of key figures and preparation of financial results
- Preparation of the monthly IFRS reporting package to the Group
- Supporting the annual and quarterly planning and forecasting processes in accordance with HGB and IFRS, including the associated planning assumptions
- Development of forecast models as well as profitability, parameter measurement, control and monitoring models
- Support in the preparation of Supervisory Board meetings
- Preparation of regular and ad-hoc evaluations and plan/actual analyses of portfolio and earnings components
- Processing the annual strategy process
- Contact person for auditors and tax consultants
- Processing questions/reporting issues relating to national (HGB) and international principles (IFRS) of accounting, valuation and other and other banking regulations
- Processing work instructions and guidelines as well as technical support for planning, accounting and controlling processes
- Support for cross-functional projects as required
BEST PRECONDITIONS
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in finance and accounting, economics or comparable qualification
- relevant experience in the areas of financial controlling, accounting, financial planning and analysis or other related areas in a bank, auditing or consulting firm is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of Excel and financial modelling
- High affinity for IT systems and optimisation of interfaces in a diverse
diverse IT landscape - Excellent analytical analytical skills, decisiveness and problem-solving skills
- Diligence and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in international contexts
- Fluent written and spoken English
