IMPORTANT TASKS
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to HGB
- Preparation of monthly reports with a focus on HGB and IFRS including key figure analysis and financial result preparation
- Further development of systems, procedures and evaluations to improve the quality and accelerate HGB and IFRS reporting
- Preparation of regular and ad-hoc evaluations and plan/actual analyzes of inventory and result components
- Contact person for auditors and tax advisors
- Processing of questions/identification questions regarding national (HGB) and international principles (IFRS) of accounting, valuation and other and further banking regulations
- Support in the preparation of supervisory board meetings
- Preparation of monthly tax reports and support of annual tax returns
- Processing of work instructions and guidelines as well as technical support of processes in the finance area
- Support cross-functional projects as required
- Independent implementation and support of projects, especially to optimize the IT landscape and increase efficiency in the finance area
BEST PRECONDITIONS
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in business administration, economics or comparable qualification, ideally with a focus on finance or accounting
- Relevant experience in the areas of accounting, controlling, taxes, financial planning and analysis or other related areas of a bank, auditing or consulting company would be an advantage
- Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (especially MS Excel)
- High affinity for IT systems and optimization of interfaces in a diverse IT landscape
- Excellent analytical skills, decision-making ability and problem-solving skills
- Care and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in international contexts
- Fluent written and spoken English skills
