IMPORTANT TASKS

  • Accounts payable and receivable accounting
  • Assigning and posting accounts for current business transactions, such as incoming invoices.
  • Bank statement reconciliation and checking and approving payment notices and travel expenses.
  • Processing electronic payments (payment runs and transfers).
  • Creation of accounts receivable invoices and tracking of incoming payments, including reminder runs
  • Preparation of monthly tax returns (VAT, capital gains tax).
  • Support with tax returns and acting as a contact person for tax advisors
  • Assistance with preparing annual financial statements
  • Support with preparing reports for financial control.
  • Travel expense accounting
  • Collaboration in cross-functional projects

BEST PRECONDITIONS

  • Successfully completed commercial training with a focus on finance or accounting, or a bachelor's/master's degree in economics
  • Relevant experience in financial accounting or other related areas of a bank, auditing, or consulting firm is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, especially MS Excel
  • High affinity for IT systems and optimization of interfaces in a diverse IT landscape
  • Care and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills in international contexts
  • Fluent written and spoken English
