IMPORTANT TASKS

Within the Banking & Risk Management division, we are seeking a Risk Controller for the Risk Management & Control team to optimize our risk reporting through automation and the expansion of our data infrastructure, as well as to drive forward cross-risk-category initiatives from a conceptual standpoint.

You

use Python, Databricks, and BI tools to continuously improve the level of automation and process efficiency in risk reporting

ensure robust risk data aggregation and systematically expand the risk data infrastructure and the underlying data warehouse (DWH) for this purpose

contribute to structuring data and digitizing workflows within risk management

coordinate risk reporting and take responsibility for cross-risk-category topics such as ICAAP/risk-bearing capacity

support the conceptual further development of ICAAP/risk-bearing capacity, including stress testing frameworks and capital planning

assist in the implementation and further development of quantitative models for various risk categories (e.g., credit risk, market risk/IRRBB, liquidity risk)

BEST PRECONDITIONS

  • Degree in a STEM field, economics with a quantitative focus, or a comparable qualification
  • Strong proficiency in a common programming language, ideally Python
  • Confidence working with data warehouse (DWH) structures and BI tools; ideally, experience with Databricks or comparable data/analytics platforms
  • Strong affinity for data-driven work, automation, and process optimization
  • Proactive hands-on mentality and a willingness to take ownership of specific topics and results
  • Knowledge of quantitative methods, risk management, and/or bank-wide management (ICAAP, RTF) is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills in English; German skills are an advantage
